CINEMA 4D Mograph advanced training - Germany 30 October 2014
Do you want to meet me in person? No problem! I will be given my SECOND! english lesson as an official Maxon certified trainer. Location: Digital Art School, Augenpulver Company, Wiesbaden (Germany), 13 March 2014. Yes, it will be a very hard week!
CINEMA 4D Mograph module is one of the most important features of CINEMA 4D. It is a part of CINEMA 4D Broadcast and Studio package, however I can´t agree this amazing and very powerfull toolset is suitable for brodcast animations only. It´s the key feature for almost everybody, because it is a very effective way how to multiply and control many clones and intancies. How to distribute them, animate, texture and so on. It ´s the way how to build a very complex scene in several second only, how to generate a perfect looking concrete pavement, dynamic and adjustable staircase, grass on your landscape, stones and dirt on the floor or dynamically place variety of fruits into a bowl of an artchitectural scene. However, that´s not all. We can use it by huge variety of usages, we can combine it with particle systems, Thinking particles, deformers, modifiers, generate very complex simulations. Simply, Mograph is a tool for an every day. For everybody. And this training will teach you how to use and combine this propably the most important feature of CINEMA 4D.
At the time, Maxon introduced CINEMA 4D Mograph module was the toolset designed as a motion graphic animation feature. Broadcast motion graphic animations. However, Mograph module usage is much more larger. It´s an effectivity and advanced flexibility synonymum, it´s the way how to control a huge scene and generate a breathtaking details effect etc. Simply, it´s the key of fully effective work of every day.
It´s not about an animation only. Although this is about animation tools control, that´s true. Mograph is able to do in several seconds something, that can také more than many hours without that. It can randomly distribute many different instancies on a surface, it can generate fully detailed seems on a leather motocycle seat, distribute diamonds on a golden diadem, distribute trees or lamps around a street, make railing, pavements, bookshelfs and much more. It´s an amazing modeling toolset. And it is still easy to use in this level.
However, it´s an animation toolset primary of course. We will teach you how to make a cool looking animated jingle. MoGraph module usage is very intuitive and just several objects can do a breathtaking animation – without keyframes! Everything should be done automatically.
The training will teach you myriad ways that particles can be manipulated for use. It will dispel the simplistic concept of particles as mere points. It teaches methods of using particles to create very non-typical particle models. Models grown from particles that react in realtime to deformers, cloners and dynamics.
It´s still not enought. CINEMA 4D offers really cool features and Bullet dynamic engine as well. Every object you can imagine can fully collide with another. It can be a rigid object, soft object and we can simulate an aerodynamic behaviour as well.
Cinema 4D Mograph Matrix object can be used by a completely different way, the object can be used on a multitude of tasks. The training will showcase it as a Thinking particles generator; without Xpresso editing, without nodes, without an external plugin or any other advanced stuff. We will combine this powerful particle system with an old Pyrocluster engine to produce pretty cool effects.
A short conclusion. Mograph, it does not mean animations only. It´s a very complex and universal toolset for an every day.
Elementary CINEMA 4D Mograph module usage is easy to use, it is the same like other CINEMA 4D features. However, an effect structure can grow rapidly up and is really very important to understand to all elementaries before. Is very important to understand to all its possibilities, objects, shaders and hierarchy. Is very important to know how to combine all its features and objects, how to use it accordingly with other CINEMA 4D features like deformers, particles emittors, modifiers, Thinking particles setups and so on. Everything for the best result. It´s the key aspect of the training.

Who is the training intended to
For all those, who own or plan to use CINEMA 4D Broadcast or Studio package. From a common point of view, it is intended to users who work as a designer, animator, motion graphic artist, modeler, architect, VFX designer and so on. The trainees should have a basic knowledge of the work in a program CINEMA 4D R15.
